The electric car shown above was already developed in the late 1980s in Germany to the production stage. However, the market launch of the german AAA was deliberately prevented by "strong forces". A similar thing happened a few years later in the USA to GM's EV1, as shown in the following short film "Who Killed The Electric Car":
On the timeline the german AAA was followed first by the american EV1 and then by Tesla's eCars as fully-fledged, series-ready electric cars.
